Founding cohort: starts January 2027. Only 5 seats.
A small online app studio for high schoolers. Your teen brings the idea, and finishes with a real mobile app they can show colleges and the world.

How an idea becomes an app.
Follow Shoreline, a sample project for a beach cleanup club, through the process.
Weeks 1–2
Draw it first.
Before anything gets built, the idea becomes a clear plan.
- Student
- Researches the problem and writes the product plan.
- Teacher
- Checks the idea can be built in eight weeks.
- Result
- A clear first version: log a cleanup, see the season.
Your teen is already using AI. What are they making with it?
A real app
A mobile app, built around a problem your teen cares about.
A story to tell
A project they can show and explain in college applications and interviews.
A builder’s mindset
Research, planning and clear communication, the skills that outlast any one tool.
Not another coding class.
Many coding classes were designed before AI could write code. Now that typing the code is the easy part, the valuable skills are knowing what to build, judging the result and explaining why.

Our approach: every student starts with a problem they care about. In the Plan phase we shape it, research it and make sure it can be built in eight weeks.

Our approach: with five students at most, there’s room for every question in live sessions. Four private one-to-ones keep each project moving.
The starting pointMany coding classesLearn syntax firstImaginAIryStart with a real problem
Our approach: students begin with the problem and a written product plan. They direct AI tools, test what comes back and fix what doesn’t work.
The finishMany coding classesA certificateImaginAIryA mobile app they own
Our approach: students finish with a store-ready app, a product plan and a presentation of what they built and why. After the handover, the app is theirs.
Eight weeks. Three phases.
Weeks 1–2
Plan
Shape the idea, research the topic and write the product plan.
Weeks 3–6
Build
Turn the plan into a working mobile app, directing AI tools, testing what comes back and fixing what doesn’t work.
Weeks 7–8
Launch
Prepare it for the app stores, put it in front of real people and present the work.
Your teacher
Tori K.
Your teen works directly with the person who designed the program. She has spent six years building apps and coaching people to build their own, and she teaches every session herself.
Her layers
A scientist’s habits, taught through building: ask a good question, check the evidence, explain your thinking.
Who this is for, and who it isn’t.

- Wants to build something real
- Is new to coding, or has never tried it
Not the right fit
- Wants someone else to build it
- Can’t commit to 4 hours a week
- Wants a guaranteed admissions result
The commitment: 4 hours a week
Time for extra work varies by project size.
Five seats. One teacher.
Change your mind partway through? You’re only charged for the time your teen used, with prorated refunds.

Questions parents ask
Does my teen need to know how to code?
No. The program is designed for complete beginners.
What if they don’t have an idea yet?
A rough idea is enough to apply. The Plan phase is where it takes shape, and we’ll talk it through on the call.
Isn’t the AI doing all the work?
AI speeds up the building, but your teen does the thinking. They decide what the app should do, research the topic, test the results and explain their choices.
Will this help with college applications?
It gives your teen a real project to show and talk about. No program can promise an admissions result, and we won’t.
Who owns the app?
Your teen does. Ownership is handed over to them after the maintenance period.
Not ready to apply yet?
Get the program guide with the schedule, curriculum and pricing.
What will they build?
- 1Tell us about your teen and their idea.
- 2Join a short call with both of you.
- 3If it’s a good fit, your seat is confirmed.
